Advice & Tips:
Whereas some patients prescribed the walking cane may mentally view it as a (literally) burden, sign of dependency, shame, aging, etc; I see it for its necessitated purpose, to improve mobility and balance and to assist in taking the strain off of certain muscles that no longer adhere to the physical demands the user requires to have the independence and mobility necessary to walk and move about freely without incidence and risks of falling, further compromising their independence and possibly being a blow to their dignity.
